Chuck Diebert : Summer chess camps 2007 (Upper Arlington & Newark Ohio)


Nationally known chess instructor and coach: Chuck Diebert earned his "Life Master" title in 1987.

An avid proponent of the Blackmar - Diemer Gambit,
Chuck parlayed the technique to a 2396 rating
and earned the reputation for the hybrid, Blackmar - Diebert Gambit.

In the summer of 2007, this is about having fun and playing chess...

CHUCK DIEBERT (Columbus Area, information submitted March 2004)
USCF Master since 1982. 8-time Columbus City Champion and 6-time Runner-up.
Winner of more than 150 USCF rated tournaments.

Taught High School English and Shakespeare from 1976-1988
and has been teaching chess full time ever since.

Has coached numerous Individual and Team State and National Champions.
Founder and coach of the Phoenix Chess Club in Upper Arlington.
Currently runs the chess programs in Granville, RL Stephenson Elementary,
Norwich Elementary, Barrington Elementary and St. Agatha. Call

The "Yellow" thumb nail on the left is for two sessions in Upper Arlington Ohio on June 25th-29th for Beginners and Intermediate players and the second session on July 23rd to the 27th for Intermediate and Advanced players.

Note the Granville student class is limited to the first 25 registrants.
